Duniya Rebecca Lancaster, MD, FAAP is a board certified pediatrician. She grew up in both Howard and Montgomery counties in Maryland. Currently, Dr. Lancaster resides in Howard County with her son and husband. She attended Williams College in Massachusetts and obtained a B.A. in Biology in 1990. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio in 1995. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Stanford University in California in 1998. Then, Dr. Lancaster worked in several large pediatric practices in Virginia and Pennsylvania. She returned to Maryland to receive post doctoral fellowship training in behavioral and developmental pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University. For the four years previous to starting her own practice, she worked in a large pediatric practice in Catonsville, Maryland as a general pediatrician with interest and experience in behavioral and developmental concerns for children and adolescents including the management and treatment of symptoms from anxiety, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Dr. Lancaster has a bright, energetic, and enthusiastic school-aged son who happens to have asthma. Thus, she also has a special interest in taking care of children with asthma, allergies, and eczema. She decided to start her own practice Lancaster Pediatrics, PA in order to provide individualized and committed care to her patients for well visits, sick visits, chronic health issues, and behavioral and educational concerns. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP).
